I am disgusted. Simply disappointed with the actions of the school. I made my step-son walk to school as I couldnt get my car out of the drive, I told him at first that since there was no other way for him to get there he didnt have to attend. He insisted that he would walk as he was worried that even that he cant get a lift to school it would ruin his attendance. Now he has returned sodden and ill. I admire that you try to keep the school open for the education but put safety first please.
The college used to be good but since becoming an academy it is clear the college is the reason for the village's downfall and increase in crime. Over the last few years theft has increased, mopeds belonging to Groby residents being stolen and ending up in Braunstone and New Parks completely trashed, vandalism, general antisocial behaviour in the local park etc. This information has all come from reliable sources I wish to add. I hope Groby community college, and probably Brookvale for that matter, are happy with themselves.
