Ambience spoilt by selfish parents but Amanda our waitress was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for her. I had travelled from Northern Ireland to visit family and was feeling a bit worse for wear but she ensured I got something to eat even though I didn't spend a lot of money she was able to make suitable suggestions. Greene king she is a real asset to you ......Give that girl a pay rise.
Pub has been refurbished since my last visit to a very good standard. The food was okay last time but very good this visit.The steak was cooked perfectly. Breakfasts are very good as well.

Items that were advertised on each table were not available on the day. The staff had to quickly get the advertising menus off the other tables. Not the food we were hoping for. Not good enough.
Heathley Park was refurbished about a year ago and the menu has recently changed which has vastly improved both the quality of the food and service as both were quite poor before these changes. Staff seem much happier to be there and the food has improved a lot too. Free parking always helps and the bar has a good choice of drinks available. I'd recommend the Sunday roast, good portion of food for under 10!
